It all started with a wood-fired oven, a family recipe passed down through generations, and a deep love for authentic Neapolitan tradition. Punch pizza was founded in Eden Prairie, Minnesota by Chef Marco Rossi and his partner Elena, who believed that truly great pizza is more than just food — it's an experience.
From our very first day, we've sourced only the finest local and imported ingredients: San Marzano tomatoes, fresh-milled flour, hand-pulled mozzarella, and toppings from Minnesota farms we trust. Every punch pizza that leaves our kitchen carries the weight of that commitment.
Today, Punch pizza has served over 50,000 happy customers, earned a reputation as Eden Prairie's go-to destination for authentic pizza, and expanded our family to include a passionate team of 20+ dedicated food lovers.

From a single wood-fired oven to Eden Prairie's most-loved pizza destination — here's how we got here.
The First Punch
Chef Marco Rossi and Elena open the original Punch pizza in a cozy 800 sq ft space in Eden Prairie with a single hand-built wood-fired oven and 12 seats. Lines form around the block on opening weekend.
Award-Winning Recognition
Punch pizza wins "Best Pizza in Eden Prairie" for the first time — an honor we've retained for six consecutive years. We expand to 40 seats and hire our first full kitchen team.
Expanding the Kitchen
We relocate to our current home at 8353 Crystal View Rd — a spacious, purpose-built kitchen with two wood-fired ovens, a private dining room, and a full catering suite to serve events of all sizes.
Catering & Events Launch
We formally launch Punch Pizza Catering, bringing our signature pies to corporate events, weddings, and private parties across the Twin Cities metro. Our catering team handles over 200 events in year one.
10-Year Anniversary & Franchise
Celebrating our 10th year in business, we serve our 25,000th customer and announce the Punch Pizza Franchise Program — inviting passionate entrepreneurs to bring our recipes and values to new communities.
Online Ordering & Delivery
We launch our new online ordering platform, making it easier than ever for customers across Eden Prairie to enjoy Punch pizza at home. Within six months, delivery orders account for 35% of our total sales.

Elena's vision shapes every guest experience at Punch pizza. From sourcing relationships to front-of-house culture, her warmth and precision keep everything running beautifully.
James joined Punch pizza in 2015 after culinary school in Chicago. He leads our seasonal specials program and oversees dough preparation — the heart of every great pizza.
Priya has coordinated over 500 catering events for Punch pizza, from intimate birthday dinners to large corporate gatherings. Her attention to detail makes every event unforgettable.
